Carendt is BACK!!!

Carl Arendt died on March 4, 2011, leaving us with only his website to enjoy on the internet.  Carl, at the time, was continuing his scrapbook with the march edition.  Unfortunately, this did not get published, and many people felt that his scrapbook would cease to continue.  But I am glad to announce that Carl's site is back with the November 2011 edition!  So long live the master of micro layouts!  Or at least his legacy!  Special thanks must go to Jack Trollope, Tom Barrett, and Johnathon Scott, who all pitched in to keep the site alive and well.  So have we gotten to a new chapter in carendt.com?  Maybe, only time will tell.

Small Layouts Just finished!

I am happy to report that my Small Layouts page has just been completed.  later on, there will be an addition to the page with an N scale layout.  For now though, it mainly goes over the construction of my O scale NYC layout.  I hope you all enjoy!

Mystery Layout Finally Revealed?

Well, not quite, but we are getting there.  There are a couple photos of the micro layout below.  I will  tell you though that this train layout is VERY small.  ever wanted to see a train layout in 2 1/2 feet?  Well this one is something to see then.  I'll post the layout soon!

A Note to All...

If you are in the Hill City, SD area, please come and see the SDSRM Trees and trains exhibit going on from around Thanks Giving to  New Years.  Features include; several layouts, a BRIO train table for smaller kids, as well as many other exhibits for people of all ages.  So come and Join the fun at the South Dakota State Railroad Museum!
